THAT’S A PENALTY

Posh have been hard done-by there. Dembele is brought down by a diving Lumley, he gets there first and the keeper comes across him and knocks him off this feet. Missed by the penalty. Just gives a corner, which is the one thing it definitely isn’t

Dembele wastes a good passage of play for Posh with a pass on from the right of the box that was behind Norburn.

No changes from either side in terms of set-up or personnel. Chance for Boro, Ikpeazu runs off Knight, crosses for Sporar who dives to head the ball, it’s slightly behind him and it goes over.

Dembele gives the ball away on the centre circle. Tavernier cuts past Butler on the left of the box, pokes past Cornell and there is Knight with the crucial goalline block. Incredible and it saves Posh as the whistle goes.

That ball again. Watmore this time, just over hit, it is brining so much promise. Edwards’ lack of pace is being exploited and it’s only a matter of time until the ball over the top leads to a goal.

Edwards beaten over the top again, this time Cornell comes out and clears. You wonder if Kent may be introduced. Taylor shoots from range after Posh get into the final third for the first time in a while. They are really lacking ideas with the ball.

Finally a yellow for Boro. Payero very late in on Knight, no question about it.
