Peterborough United are looking to book their place in the FA Cup fifth round as they host QPR at the Weston Homes Stadium today (February 5, 3pm).

The sides last met in this competition in 1964, as Posh beat QPR in a replay and went all the way to the quarter-final.

Posh also have the confidence of winning this exact fixture in October and will be hoping to knock out a QPR side, who sit third in the Champonship table, in the first game of the post-Siriki Dembele era.

LIVE BLOG: Posh vs QPR

Key Events

  • 3pm kick-off
  • Winner into the FA Cup fifth round
  • Coulson and Brown (again) could debut for Posh
  • Morton is cup-tied
  • QPR currently sit third in the Championship

Chair hits the bar with his effort. Middle of the goal, 25 yards out, great attempt.

Brown straight into the thick of it. Handball given against him from a Johansen shot from range.

Posh sub 55 mins 1-0

Defensive change. Brown for Poku.

QPR all over Posh, last-ditch tackles and headers all over the place. Need to be better on the ball, both Norburn and Fuchs won it back just then and gave it straigth back. Benda eventually claims a cross off the head of Dykes. This is back to the wall stuff already.

Szmodics and Marriott upfront now, you worry how Posh are going to go out stopping the ball from just coming straight back every time they clear it.

Adomah finds space again, puts in a ball looking for Dykes, Benda well off his line to claim.

Still wing backs for QPR but Adomah has gone on the right and Odubajo has switched to the left.

What a save Benda! A fantastic diving save to his left to keep out the volley from Admoah, no more than five yards out. He was one of two halftime changes replacing Wallace.

Amos has also been replaced by Jeff Hendrick.

Szmodics is coming on and it’s for Clarke-Harris. He did pull up and hold the base of his back during a run at the end of that half.
