LIVE BLOG: PETERBOROUGH UNITED vs QUEENS PARK RANGERS- Substitute Jones seals FA Cup progress for Posh with sweet finish
The sides last met in this competition in 1964, as Posh beat QPR in a replay and went all the way to the quarter-final.
Posh also have the confidence of winning this exact fixture in October and will be hoping to knock out a QPR side, who sit third in the Champonship table, in the first game of the post-Siriki Dembele era.

The game is still following the same pattern. QPR are screaming for a penalty, Austin beats Kent in the air to head onto Dykes, he’s pursued by Beevers and Benda flies out and he ends up on the floor. Referee not interested.
77 mins 2-0
QPR have definitely looked less threatening since the changes. Taking Chair off was always going to have an impact and all the changes look to have disrupted the visitors. This is far from done though, as we well know.

What an outstanding first-time finish from Jones. It was great work from Fuchs and Mumba to win the ball in midfield, Mumba then breaks forward, plays in Jones on the right of the box. He then sweeps the ball into the corner with a first-time shot. What a goal.
68 mins 1-0
Not sure how but a corner was given. Headed out for a throw but from that, Posh sling the ball into the box, Mumba picks up the rebound, puts it back in, Norburn heads it to Szmodics, the ball drops and he has a choice of a shot from a tight angle or a ball across to Jones. He goes for the pass and it hits Dunne, wrong foots Marshall in goal for a moment but doesn’t have enough on it to roll into the net.
66 mins 1-0
Brilliant clearing header from Beevers. It sets up a Posh counter, which sets up a break. Coulson sprints over halfway and picks the pass to Szmodics at the right time. The angle is a challenge but he gets a shot across goal off.
65 mins 1-0 Posh
Well blocked by the wall, Adomah took. Chair is only just back from AFCON, where he hardly played, so the change makes sense.
64 mins 1-0
Fuchs yellow now, hauls down Adomah in a similar position Chair has just hit the bar from.
