In one of the few games to survive the raft of Covid cancellations, Posh travel to face a Blackpool side who have now won in any of their last seven and haven’t scored in their last four over.

It represents a great chance to take something for only the second away match this season.

Corner, Knight pushing up, well headed out. Poor delivery so far.

Taylor drops in to midfield and Poku has gone to the tip of the diamond. Blackpool are having their moments but Posh deserve something from this.

What an excellent run down the right from poku, straight after coming on, brushes off James with ease and stands one up to the backpost. No one is there though and Taylor is letting JCH have it for not being there. Quite right too.

What a chance for Carey. Blackpool so easily bypass Thompson, who is caught ball watching, the ball is whipped in and he blasts it over the bar.

Poku replaces Grant

Madine replaced up top by Jerry Yates. Sonny Caret for the other forward Lavery, a change to strengthen the midfield.

Excellent chance for Posh to break, Grant nicks the ball, sets Dembele off, he goes to infield to JCH but his poor to Taylor sees it break down. Moments before, Posh were struggling to clear a Blackpool ball into the box once again. So many times today the ball has just needed to be hoofed clear but a short pass has put Posh under pressure.

More concerted pressure from Posh. Comes to a head when Thompson plays a low ball in, Burrows can’t bring it under his spell and its claimed by the keeper. Posh clearly on top but don;t look like making a breakthrough.

Posh fans making plenty of noise, the team seems to be responding. Just need to find a bit of quality, dominating the ball.

Short corner, tackled immediately. Sake,
