Toney will sign a five year contract at Championship side Brentford tomorrow (September 1). The fee is officially undisclosed, but is thought to be more than the previous club record Posh sale of Dwight Gayle to Crystal Palace for £6 million in July, 2013.
Here we look at how the other 10 million-pound Posh men fared...

ARAON MCLEAN £1.3 million to Hull City, January, 2011. The first of the Posh 'Holy Trinity' to leave London Road and although he didn't tear up any trees with the Tigers he did manage a solitary sub appearance in the Premier League before leaving the club after 13 goals in 84 appearances (53 starts). More loan spells followed, including one at Posh, but the brilliance of his first few years at London Road had gone. Coached Posh last season before he was released in the summer. POST-POSH VERDICT: A struggle. Photo: Midlands

LEO DA SILVA LOPES £1 million to Wigan, June, 2018. It was a shock to regular Posh watchers when this graduate from the club's academy earned a seven-figure move into the Championship and nothing since will have altered that viewpoint. Wigan started the midfielder in just two games before selling him at a loss to Hull City who were managed by Leo's biggest cheerleader Grant McCann just one year later. Played regularly for Hull as they slipped out of the Championship in dramatic fashion last season. POST-POSH VERDICT: Hard work for him, but young enough to come again. Photo: Midlands
