Is there any chance Peterborough United will see more of JJ Morgan after the end of his current loan spell?
First-team manager Luke Williams hopes Peterborough United will see more of Jimmy-Jay Morgan after his season-long loan from Chelsea has expired.
The 20-year old loanee forward from Chelsea has made a big impression at Posh with nine goals in 28 appearances, despite playing out of position for most of the campaign. Morgan has been deployed in a deeper role, but he’s taken it in his stride, scoring in the last two Posh matches.

Williams concedes Chelsea might have grander plans for Morgan than another season at the Weston Homes Stadium, but the boss retains some hope of a second coming.
“Obviously Jimmy won’t be with us forever because he is not our player,” Williams said. “He’s going to be a top level player for sure. I am certainly not going to go toe-to-toe with Chelsea over Jimmy. It’s entirely up to them what they plan for him, but hopefully he will hold our club dearly at the end of the season and some more of his career will be with us. He’s certainly shown great commitment to us this season.
"I feel very lucky to have worked with him. His power to weight ratio is good and he has swagger and arrogance, but just the right amount of each. Jimmy is a very bright lad who has a brilliant way of understanding himself. We have conversations about him staying in games when we are not dominating because if he is focused on shutting opponents down, opportunities then will present themselves to him and he will be sharp enough to take them. He proved that at Mansfield with an outstanding finish.”
Posh midfielder Brandon Khela returns to Bradford City tomorrow. The 21 year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at ‘The Bantams’ and helped them to promotion from League Two.
If fit Khela is expected to start at Valley Parade after two impressive substitute appearances in the last two Posh matches.
Williams said: “'The boy is only going one way in his career. He has a top personality. He's a player who puts his ego to one side for the good of the team. He's had tough times when he's been out of the squad, but he's shown what he's about in the last two games, coming on as a substitute and getting an assist in both.
"He's a starter, a finisher, a creator, a hunter and a destroyer. He doesn’t get carried away when things go well. He's level headed and focused, athletic and composed. He's a most impressive young man."
