Former Posh hero Lee Tomlin announced his retirement, aged 33, from football due to injury on Wednesday. Therefore, the Peterborough Telegraph has trawled its archive to find 16 photos that show his most memorable moments from his two spells at the club, both good and bad.
Tomling first joined Posh from Rushden and Diamonds in the summer of 2010 and stayed until February 2014.
He briefly returned on loan in January 2019 until the end of the season and played a further 19 times for Posh, scoring twice.
His final record for the club was 45 goals in 177 games.

9. May 4, 2013 Relegation
Heartbreak. Posh went into the final day of the season against Crystal Palace with their fate in their own hands. Victory would have guaranteed safety actually and as it turned out, a draw would have done the same. Huddersfield and Barnsley actually playing on in stoppage time might have helped too. However, Posh started in the best possible way with Tomlin giving Ferguson's men a 28th-minute lead with a 25-yard run that saw him take five defenders out of the game before he scored from the edge of the box. Only after then did it all go wrong. Photo: Alan Storer

10. August 27, 2013 Reading masterclass
Posh presumably must have been feeling immense frustration having been relegated with 54 points on the board, still a record, and they took it out on the next Championship side they played. Reading were in the firing line in the League Cup. Tomlin netted a hat-trick, including a 25-yard hot and two penalties in a game where Posh ran riot against higher-level opposition, winning 6-0. 11. August 31, 2013 The Crawley saga
Clearly the performance against Reading didn't go unnoticed and Tomlin was a wanted mad. At this point, things began to sour at Posh. As Darragh MacAnthony tells the story, he arrived before the game against Crawley saying that he had a move to Celtic sorted and that he would be going for a medical after the game. Stunned, the chairman insisted that the Scottish side had not been in touch. Allegedly they submitted a bid at half-time. The move meant Tomlin's mind was scrambled and Darren Ferguson had no choice but to hook him at half-time and he then proceeded to trash the chairman's office for denying him the chance to play against Barcelona to play against Crawley instead. 12. October 26, 2013 Colchester red card
It was clear Tomlin's mind was elsewhere from the Crawley game onwards and Colchester was the first of three red cards he picked up before departing in January. A clash with Craig Eastmond saw him sent from the field and Posh ended up losing 1-0. Photo: david lowndes
