Former Posh hero Lee Tomlin announced his retirement, aged 33, from football due to injury on Wednesday. Therefore, the Peterborough Telegraph has trawled its archive to find 16 photos that show his most memorable moments from his two spells at the club, both good and bad.
Tomling first joined Posh from Rushden and Diamonds in the summer of 2010 and stayed until February 2014.
He briefly returned on loan in January 2019 until the end of the season and played a further 19 times for Posh, scoring twice.
His final record for the club was 45 goals in 177 games.

5. May 29, 2011 Promotion
Tomlin's first season at Posh ended in the best possible way with promotion on that special day against Huddersfield at Old Trafford. By this time, Tomlin has grown into an integral part of the team under Darren Ferguson. He made his mark on the season scoring eight times and providing eight assists. He played 89 of the 90 minutes before being replaced by David Ball with promotion secured. Photo: Peter Byrne

6. August 20, 2011 Unplayable vs Ipswich
In Posh's first month back as a Championship club, the Sky TV cameras came to town and they were treated to perhaps the best ever Posh performance in the division. Lee Tomlin in particular was unplayable in the 7-1 win. He scored a hat-trick that began with a brilliant chest down, cut back and shot and was completed with a cool one-on-one and a scramble for his hat-trick. He assisted Paul Taylor and Posh's first and got himself fouled for Ipswich's second red card. Photo: Alan Storer

7. October 15, 2011 Wonderstrike
It took until mid-October for Posh to win away in the 2011/2012 season but their first came in style and was delivered by Tomlin. Bottom club Bristol City were beaten by a Lee Tomlin 40-yard thunderbolt that went whistling into the top corner to make the score 2-1 and that's how it stayed. One of his best Posh goals. 8. February 13, 2013 Millwall mauling
There are a fair few individual Tomlin performances that will stand out to Posh fans but one of them certainly was in the 5-1 demolition of Millwall at The Den that moved them off the foot of the table. A cultured finish into the top corner from a George Boyd cutback and a first-time finish as he arrived in the box were the goals he scored on a day he ran the show. Photo: Joe Dent
