Stamford AFC remain rooted to the bottom of the table following four straight defeats. They went down to an early goal at Worcester City today. It was Worcester’s first win of the season.

A superb first-half display enabled FC Peterborough to claim a second win of the United Counties Premier Division South win of the season, although they were hanging on at the end of a 4-3 win against Coton Green. Jack Bedwell, David Yisah and an own goal gave the city side a 3-0 half-time lead before the visitors clawed it back to 3-2. Dom Sanha restored a two-goal advantage, but there was still time for the visitors to strike again.
There was no new manager bounce at Deeping Rangers in the Premier Division South, but there was plenty of encouraging signs for new boss Liam Hook.

Andy Irvine gave Blackstones the lead in their home fixture with second-placed Hucknall Town, but they required a second-half strike from Harry Peasgood to secure a creditable 2-2 draw.
In Thurlow Nunn Division One Whittlesey Athletic came within 10 minutes of ending Holland FC’s unbeaten start to the season. The visitors struck late to cancel out a Jack Kent goal.
Luke Clemenson found a second-half leveller to give Netherton United a decent 1-1 draw at Norwich United and Holbeach United joined the city side on 10 points by beating Needham Market Reserves 3-2.
Former Peterborough United star opened the scoring for Bourne Town in their FA Cup Preliminary Round tie at Bottesford United, but the hosts forced a Tuesday replay with a goal 20 minutes from time.
