Bart was the man as Spalding United's outstanding start continued, tough home fpr Peterborough Sports, and locals in the FA Vase and FA Trophy

Bart Cybulski and Spalding United have well and truly marked their arrival at National League North level.

Jimmy Dean’s side have now taken 10 points from their last four matches and won their second consecutive game on Tuesday night thanks to an impressive comeback.

Spalding trailed at lowly Spennymoor at half time but then up stepped striker Cybulski to smash in his second hat-trick in his last four games to secure a 3-1 win to move his side into sixth place after eight games.

Dean said: “I'm absolutely delighted with the start. It's a crazy division. I've managed three clubs in it and you'll see week after week a team from down the bottom beating a side at the top.

"My message to the players though is to do the right things most of the time instead of some of the time. The thing that hurt us last season was complacency. It starts with me and I felt there was elements of complacency in our previous game against Worksop.

"We have to understand that we won't get away it in this league. If we can stay on it most of the time, because nobody does it all of the time, then we'll see where we go."
