We may only be half way through spring, but Peterborough is about to get an early taste of summer – with glorious sunny weather forecast in the run up to the Bank Holiday weekend.

But it is not just good news for Thursday.

Tuesday (April 29) is set to see temperatures of 23C at around 5pm – perfect for an evening barbecue.

Wednesday (April 30) is also looking like a glorious day, with the thermometer rising to 23C at 4pm.

Night time temperatures are set to stay warm – only barely dipping into single figures.

Friday is set to be a little cooler, with just 21C forecast as a maximum at 1pm.

As for the Bank Holiday weekend itself, temperatures will continue to drop, with 17C set to be the maximum at around 4pm. Clouds will also return – but the forecast is that it should stay dry.

Sunday will be another cloudy day, with temperatures only reaching 14C in the afternoon – with Monday set to be a very similar day.

However, through the full weekend, there is just a 10 per cent chance of rain (at the moment).
