Peterborough snow and ice warning extended

The weather warning for snow and ice in Peterborough has been extended.

The yellow warning, issued by the Met Office, had been due to finish today.

However, the warning has now been extended to include tomorrow.

A yellow snow warning is in place until midnight tonight, and then a yellow snow and ice warning will remain in place until 11am tomorrow.

Residents making essential journeys are urged to take extra care on the roads.
