Yesterday the mercury soared to 22.6C in Peterborough giving people the chance to meet up with friends and family outdoors for the first time in months.
The temperature meant yesterday was the hottest March day in the city since Trevor Robbins Pratt - from Peterborough Weather Watch - had recorded since his records began in 2006.

Hide AdBut today cooler temperatures have arrived, leading some to predict a ‘White Easter.’
Trevor said there was a chance of some ‘wintry showers’ this weekend. He said; “It will certainly be much cooler for the next few days.
“There is perhaps a risk of a light wintry shower or two through the early hours of Monday morning before sunrise.
“But other than that, i don’t see anything more significant at the moment.”
