Proposals have been drawn up following traffic concerns in the Gladstone Street and Millfield area.

A public consultation process has been launched. All residents have been invited to attend a consultation meeting on Friday evening (July 10) at 4pm – 6pm.

Cllr Ali said: “This is a Labour-led community consultation, organised to ensure every resident has the opportunity to have their voice heard.

“Council officers will be in attendance to explain the proposals, answer your questions, and listen to your views. Whether you support, oppose, or have suggestions about the proposed one-way system, we want to hear from you.

“This meeting is open to all residents. It is not for a select few everyone is welcome to attend, ask questions, and contribute to the discussion.

“Your feedback matters and will help ensure residents’ views are properly represented.

“We look forward to seeing you there.”
