Air ambulance at scene of serious crash at A1 and A47 junction at Wansford
The air ambulance has landed at the scene of a serious crash on the A1 at the A47 Wansford junction.
The crash took place at 1.15pm to the crash. A single car has left the carriageway, rolled over several times and come to a rest on its side.
One lane of the southbound carriageway is closed as a result with long delays back towards Stamford.
The Magpas air ambualcne is at the scene but details of injuries are unclear at this time.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area but the scene was cleared at 4pm.
