Road closed after sudden death in Yaxley

Officers were called to Labeurnum Avenue today (Thursday) following reports of the incident.

The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene.

A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: “We were called at 6.04am today (9 January) with reports of concern for a man in the street in Laburnum Avenue, Yaxley.

“Officers and paramedics attended, but the man died at the scene.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and will be handed to the coroner.”
