Readers vote for Bourges Boulevard to be renamed Roady McRoadface

Peterborough Telegraph readers have voted for Bourges Boulevard to be renamed Roady McRoadface if Britain leaves the EU this summer.

Ok, this morning’s story was of course an April Fool, but thanks to all of our reader’s who got into the spirit of the gag and voted in our poll.

77% of you voted for Roady McRoadface, 10% Works Road, 10% Fountains Gate and 2% Cycle Way.

You also came up with countless other suggestions on what the street could be called....some of them were almost publishable!

If you hadn’t guessed, the story from the Queensgate Centre about ordering a fleet of Drones was also a gag.
