New foster carers wanted to lend a helping hand in Peterborough area
Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council have 300 foster carers looking after more than 1,000 vulnerable children – but they urgently need more.
The authorities are celebrating the work of foster carers across the region by launching the Helping Hands campaign. They are asking for more local families to support children and young people who are in need of a loving and caring home by making a positive difference to their lives.

Foster carers are particularly needed to care for sibling groups, children over 10 and teenagers.
