At least 84 people have died after a lorry slammed through a crowd celebrating Bastille Day at about 11pm last night (Thursday, July 14).

A message has already been written into the book by Mayor of Peterborough, Councillor David Sanders.

The flag on the Town Hall is also being raised at half mast today as a mark of respect.

Cambridgeshire County Council and Cambridgeshire Constabulary are doing the same.
