Tesco staff at Serpentine Green make donation to Peterborough City Hospital's Amazon Ward
Generous staff at Tesco at Serpentine Green have made a donation to Peterborough City Hospital’s Amazon Ward to help families in need.
The store sent a wide range of supplies to the parents room on the hospital’s children’s ward, to make families’ stay at the hospital as easy as possible during a stressful time.
Sharron Toms, who is a Community Champion at the Serpentine Green store, said a special thanks to store manager Ashley, and added: “I work closely with Amazon PlayTeam Leader Zoe, and learnt that the parents' rooms—an essential source of support and comfort for families with children in hospital—were running low on vital supplies. We worked quickly arranging a substantial donation to help restock and prepare the rooms, easing pressures on families during difficult times.”
