Stolen Labrador puppy found by police near Peterborough
There were some relieved pet owners – after a stolen Labrador puppy was found and recovered by Cambridgeshire Police.
The puppy was taken elsewhere in the country – but found in Ramsey.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “Last week, Avon and Somerset Police got in touch with us after a six‑week‑old Labrador puppy was reported stolen.
“It was believed the puppy was in the Ramsey area, so our officers quickly got to work
“Thanks to some great teamwork, the puppy was tracked down safely, and one of our officers happily did a bit of puppy‑sitting until the owner could come and collect their very relieved (and very cute!) pet.
“We’re pleased to say this little one is now back where they belong.”
