Pigeons are making a mess of Peterborough city centre - LETTER

I would like to comment on the pigeon problem in the city centre.

People can be seen emptying large bags of food out for them on a regular basis.

The freely available food is leading to excessive pigeon numbers and excrement everywhere.

The benches along Bridge Street are covered, and if you choose to sit down you run the risk of being covered too. The footpath outside the old Poundland is absolutely disgrace.
