The winner received a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education and all the finalists won a VIP holiday to Universal Orlando Resort.

“It has gone over and above what we thought it would be. We’re so proud of George, especially for a kid with no experience and the other three finalists are the most amazing kids. They are all winners.”

George said: “I really appreciate Danny believing in me, putting me through to this stage. I want to put on a big performance.

“You have to practice everyday to get it right, if you want to get through, you need to work hard every day, you can’t miss out even a single day. I’ve been doing vocal warm ups with mum,”
