Peterborough businesswoman Jo Bevilacqua to publish new book to inspire women entrepreneurs

Jo Bevilacqua (36) has just written No Longer Last on the List, which seeks to help busy women put their own needs first in order to obtain their goals.

Jo, who founded beauty salon with in-house crèche, Serenity Loves, in Oundle Road, set up Hallmark Carpets and Flooring, in Yaxley, and launched Jo Bevilacqua Mentoring (formerly The Unique Mumpreneur), says the book takes the reader through the activities and attitudes that can shift their mindset from feeling stuck at the bottom of their priorities to finding fulfilment.

She said: “The book explores many of the issues that affect women today: motherhood, the weight of other people’s expectations, social media, relationships and work.

“I wanted to help other women put their own needs first, which in turn will help them achieve their goals and love their lives even more.

She added: “That said, No Longer Last on The List is hugely optimistic and isn’t just for women.

“It really is for anyone who puts myriad things before themselves or never appears on the list at all.”

She said the book seeks to empower female entrepreneurs who are juggling busy family-lives alongside their drive for success and was written in response to her own experiences setting up and running three successful businesses while also raising a family.

No Longer Last on the List will be officially launched tonight at a ceremony at Holiday Inn, Peterborough.

It features a foreword from Shaa Wasmund, the Sunday Times bestselling author.
