New temporary memorial erected in memory of 16-year-old Baye Bireme Fall murdered in Peterborough
A new memorial has erected in Peterborough to remember 16-year-old Baye Bireme Fall.
Baye, known as BB, was sadly murdered in April in Riseholme, Orton Goldhay, right next to the Ortongate Shopping Centre.
Ever since, flowers, candles and other items have been placed at the site in his memory.
While residents, as well as BB's friends and family, continue to grieve, a new memorial, which takes the form of a small wooden wishing well, has been put in place at the sit where he was killed.

The well will be in place temporarily and will eventually be able to be moved and placed in the garden of BB’s parents.
The memorial has a large amount of plastic flowers placed next to it as well as a box with a book inside where anyone can leave their own notes.
Cllr Kirsty Knight, who paid for the memorial, said: “A family has lost their 16-year-old son. Parents have lost the chance to watch their boy grow up. His family and friends are still grieving.
“With Baye’s birthday approaching, I hope people can put opinions to one side for a moment and remember the family and friends who are facing a day he should still be here to celebrate.
“A little kindness and compassion costs nothing, and right now I think that matters far more than anything else."
An appeal has also been made for lit candles not to be left at the site due to the ongoing drought conditions and the risk of fire posed.
