Speaking about his visit, Mr Bristow tweeted: “I recently paid a visit to @familyvoice1 #Peterborough who work so hard for our City. They were delivering food parcels so I lent a hand dropping off in #Bretton and #Dogsthorpe. They make me #proudofpeterborough.

Family Voice Peterborough chief executive Louise Ravenscroft said: “We really appreciate Paul’s support. It was good of him to listen to us explain about issues affecting families and we look forward to raising issues more often.”
