‘It is with a very heavy heart’: Yaxley pub to close within days as landlords pen emotional goodbye message
The pub’s owner is currently seeking a new management team
The landlords of a Yaxley pub have said a “huge thank you” to customers ahead of its closure later this week.
The Three Horseshoes, in Main Street, is set to close on Sunday (September 20), a post on its Facebook page confirmed earlier this week.
A spokesperson for the pub said: “It is with a very heart that I have to write this post.

“Unfortunately our last day at the Three Horseshoes will be this Sunday 20th.
“We’d just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us through the years we’ve been here, we’ve loved getting to know you all.”
The pub will be hosting a “huge leaving party” on Sunday where customers can enjoy cheap drinks.
Curry Delight, an Indian takeaway housed within the Three Horseshoes, has confirmed that its last day of service will be Thursday, September 24.
In a Facebook post, the business told customers that it was “unsure what the future holds or where our next home will be”.
The Three Horseshoes’ owner, Stonegate Group, is currently seeking new tenants to run the pub.
An online listing describes the pub as being in “a fantastic position” on Main Street in the village.
The pub has a forecasted annual turnover of £492,153, according to the listing.
Grade II listed by Historic England, the thatched pub dates back to the 18th century.
