Iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck could stop in Peterborough this year - here’s how you can make it happen

Holidays are coming!

Peterborians are being asked to vote for the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck to make its long-awaited return to the city in 2026.

The famous red truck will once again be spreading festive joy to towns and cities across the UK from the end of November, but Coca-Cola bosses have confirmed a change to the way locations are decided.

For the first time ever, the truck’s stops will be decided by a public vote which closes at 4pm tomorrow (Tuesday, November 3).

Participants are allowed three votes each to nominate where they think the truck should stop on its 2026 tour.

The Coca-Cola Christmas truck last visited Peterborough in 2018, when it stopped at the Serpentine Green Shopping Centre.

Three years prior, in 2015, the truck attracted huge crowds to Cathedral Square.

While Coca-Cola’s iconic ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert first appeared on our screens in 1995, fans would have to wait another 15 years before the brand launched its UK truck tours.

Last year the truck visited 15 locations across the nation; the nearest to Peterborough being Ipswich.

Visitors could immerse themselves in engaging festive games, win exclusive Coca-Cola merchandise and enjoy complimentary drinks.
