In 2020, the facility was forced to close during the Covid-19 pandemic and put at risk a £700,000 by the then franchise owners, Preeti and Bikram Sohal who launched a crowdfunding page with a target of £30,000 to “help ensure essential bills are paid whilst being closed”.
