GALLERY: Shoppers greet Camilla on visit to Peterborough
The Duchess of Cornwall surprised shoppers as she took an impromptu walkabout in Peterborough city centre on her visit this week.
Camilla Parker Bowles visited on Wednesday (February 3) to promote the work of the National Literacy Trust.
Despite the brisk winter weather, she chose not to travel between two of her engagements by car, instead making the short journey on foot.
Large crowds of well-wishers gathered to enjoy the surprise and. as our photos show, many were not shy to interact with Her Royal Highness.
