The Changing Places toilet in the Car Haven car park in Peterborough city centre will be out of action for ‘several days’ the city council has said.

While other toilets in the car park are still open, the Changing Places facility is closed.

Changing Places toilets are larger toilet facilities which include an adult size changing mat and a hoist designed to help disabled visitors.

A spokesperson for Peterborough City Council said: “The external changing places facility at the Car Haven toilets is out of use due to a water test failure. We are working to get the situation resolved as quickly as possible, however, this could last several days.

“The internal men's, women's and accessible manned toilets are still operating.
