Body of man found in Fenland river near Peterborough
The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene
The body of a man has been found in a Fenland river near Peterborough.
Police were called at around 6.30pm yesterday (July 9) to reports of a body in the river at Glassmoor Bank in Pondersbridge.
Sadly, a man in his 70s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Glassmoor Bank was closed whilst emergency services attended.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
