Architecture Day - a chance to explore every corner of the Cathedral
There is a raw beauty to Peterborough Cathedral, something timeless, ancient and enduring.
Its splendour is found not just in sheer scale but in dappled light streaming through leaded glass along the aisles, a surprise wash of colour across the Apse Chapel on a late summer afternoon, shadows tracing the curves of the vaulted ceilings as the days and seasons unfold... Experience this amazing building for yourself at the popular Architecture Day, taking place on Saturday August 8 from 10.15am to 3pm.
