Peterborough police have put out an appeal to find the owner of a LAMBORGHINI after they seized an abandoned Italian supercar.

The owner of the rare Lambo might not be racing to come forward though – as officers were hunting for the car following reports of it being driven in an anti-social way in West Town on Sunday (August 30).

The car was found abandoned later that evening, and taken away on a tow truck.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: “Is anyone missing their Lamborghini? “Traffic officers tried to stop the car in West Town, Peterborough, on Sunday night due to it being driven in an anti-social manner. “However, the driver didn’t fancy stopping for a chat and made off! “A couple of hours later, officers seized the car after they came across it abandoned in Westwood. “If this is your car, feel free to get in contact via 101 or online.”
