Peterborough’s Marcus Garvey Club
I thought I would continue with my recent and very popular Windrush theme this week with some more photos from my archive, writes Chris Porsz, Peterborough’s Paramedic Paparazzo.
I took these images in the early 1980s outside the Marcus Garvey Club in Cromwell Road during the Gladstone Carnival celebrations.
The club was later destroyed by fire.
I wonder what stories the people in the photos had and what became of them? I am sure friends and family will let me know.
