Ferry Meadows in Peterborough flooded and visitors warned to stay away
A statement by Nene Park Trust said today (December 27): “Most of the Park is currently flooded and water levels are set to rise further, with flood water flowing fast in some areas. We would therefore like to advise visitors, for health and safety reasons, to avoid travelling to the Park over the next 24-36 hours.
“The current situation on 27/12/20 is as follows:
- The main car park at Ferry Meadows remains accessible and open
- The main toilet block remains open
