Two arrested in Peterborough after cooking oil stolen

Two people have been arrested in Peterborough after reports cooking oil had been taken.

Officers from the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire (BCH) Road Policing Team stopped a van in Peterborough last night.

A spokesman for the team said there had been reports cooking oil had been stolen in the Thames Valley area of the country.

The spokesman said two people were in custody.
