Stolen Range Rover and Nissan Navara found in 'hidden location' near Peterborough
Police have recovered two stolen cars in a ‘hidden location’ near Peterborough.
Cambridgeshire Police said they had been given a tip off about one of the high value stolen cars – but found two off roaders – a Range Rover and a Nissan Navara pick up truck when they arrived at the spot at Ramsey.
A spokesperson for the force said: “They say teamwork makes the dreamwork.
“This time our Rural Crime Action Team (RCAT) and Neighbourhood officers worked together to track down not one, but two suspected stolen vehicles being used in crime.
“Our Rural Crime Team were able to direct neighbourhood officers to a hidden location on Middle Drove following information received about a stolen vehicle.
“To their surprise, they found the one they were looking for and another one as well!
“Both have been recovered and an investigation continues.”
