Road closed and armed officers at scene of incident in Peterborough

Residents say Monarch Avenue in Fletton has been closed by police.

One resident told the Peterborough Telegraph: “It is quite a dramatic scene. There are armed police everywhere. I spoke to one officer who said that a firearm was suspected and that we should wait indoors.”
