Police search family home again as hunt for missing Peterborough teenager Bernadette Walker continues

Police have once again searched the family home of Bernadette Walker as the hunt for the missing teenager continues.

Bernadette (17), who was reported missing by her mum on July 21, lived at her family home in Century Square, Millfield with her mum Sarah (37) and dad Scott (50).

Both parents have since been charged with her murder, despite no body having been found.

The pair are set to enter pleas at Peterborough Crown Court on Monday (November 30).

Police first searched the house on September 12 and 13 after the pair were charged.

Since then, the search has moved on to include open land in Cowbit, Gunthorpe and Newborough, as well as garages in Walton. Police divers have also searched the River Welland.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police also confirmed that searches were still ongoing at Star Pit in Dogsthorpe.

When Bernadette went missing she was described as having a medium build, half brown, half gingery blonde hair with a streak of pink. She has facial piercings and two homemade tattoos and wears glasses and is around 5ft 6in.
