Police carry out warrant after Peterborough stabbing

Police carried out a warrant in Peterborough in response to a stabbing in the city.

The warrant was carried out in Gordon Avenue, Woodston, yesterday evening (Tuesday).

A police spokeswoman said: “Nothing was found and no arrests were made.”

The stabbing took place at about 12.20am on Saturday, April 27 in Saltmarsh, Orton Malborne.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was stabbed by a group of men in a residential area and close to a route regularly used by cyclists and pedestrians.

The incident left him at the time in a critical but stable condition.
