Peterborough man charged with possession of a knife at bus station

A Peterborough man has been charged with being in possession of a knife following his arrest in Whittlesey yesterday morning (Thursday 29 October).

Kris Monson, 32, of Oundle Road, was arrested at Whittlesey bus station on suspicion of theft.

He has since been charged with theft by using a bank card belonging to another to buy a bottle of whiskey and being in possession of a knife in a public place.

Monson has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 14 December.
