Peterborough man charged with possession of a knife after violence at city hotel
A man from Orton Goldhay has been charged following reports of threats and assault at a Peterborough hotel over the weekend.
John Thompson, 36, was arrested on Saturday night (5 June) following incidents of violence at The Queensgate Hotel in Fletton Avenue.
He has since been charged with possession of a knife in a public place, affray and two counts of assault by beating.
Thompson, of Medworth, has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 8 June).
