Peterborough man charged with assaulting police officer
A man is due in court today (Monday 16 November) charged with assaulting a police officer in Peterborough.

Brandon Oakley, 20, was arrested at his home in Ferndale Way, Dogsthorpe, on Saturday evening on suspicion of assault and criminal damage.
During the arrest, a police officer was assaulted.
Oakley has since been charged with criminal damage, assault and assault of an emergency worker.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today.
