Peterborough man charged with burglary of city shop
A man is due in court today charged with burgling a Peterborough discount store.
Christopher Maher, 39, of Morris Street in Eastgate, was arrested by the Acquisitive Crime Team (ACT) just after midnight yesterday (Thursday 8 October).
He has since been charged with burgling QD Stores in Ortongate Centre as well as assault by beating of a woman.
He has been remanded to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 9 October).
