Peterborough man arrested on suspicion of murder after man dies of stab wounds in city

Police were called out to a flat in Crown Street, New England, at about 5am where it was reported there had been a fight and a man had been stabbed.
Despite efforts from paramedics, 22-year-old Daniel Szalasny of Princes Gardens in Eastfield, Peterborough, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hide AdA post mortem examination took place on Monday (10 May) which concluded Daniel died as a result of a stab wound to his chest.
A 20-year-old man was arrested in Peterborough this afternoon (Wednesday) on suspicion of murder.
A 35-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested in Paston this morning on suspicion of assisting an offender. All three remain in custody at police stations in Cambridgeshire.
A 29-year-old man who was arrested in Peterborough on Sunday afternoon on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on bail to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on 4 June.
