Man living in a tent rushed to Peterborough City Hospital after he was assaulted and robbed
A man living in a tent was rushed to Peterborough City Hospital after he was assaulted and robbed in Bourne.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said that between midnight and 12.30am on Saturday, 17 January, a man staying in a tent in the Wellhead Park area of Bourne heard noises outside.
The police spokesperson said that after looking out and asking what was happening, the man was kicked and punched by three men. Both his phone and his bank cards were stolen.
Lincolnshire Police have now released a description of the suspects – and have also appealed to a couple who took the man to hospital to come forward.

The police spokesperson said: “Following this incident the man packed up his tent and walked into the town centre, when a couple gave him a lift to a hospital in Peterborough.
“We do not know the identity of those who provided the man this lift – nor exactly where they picked him up from - and would urge them to come forward to speak to us.
“The man sustained injuries that were not life-threatening nor life-changing.
“The three attackers have been described as:
“First male: white, 5ft 8ins tall, medium build, between 30 and 40 years old, with short hair. He was wearing jeans, a dark-coloured puffa style jacket/coat and what are believed to be trainers. He was not wearing a mask or balaclava and was clean shaven and not wearing glasses.
“Second male: White, 5ft 10ins tall, chubby, aged in his 30s, with a very short skinhead haircut. He was wearing a T-shirt, dark tracksuit-style trousers, and white trainers believed to be of the Kappa brand. He had stubble, and did not wear glasses.
“Third male: White, aged in his 20s, around 6ft 2ins tall, with a muscular/chubby build. He was wearing a puffa coat, dark coloured jeans, a dark-coloured beanie hat and black Doc Marten-style boots. He had a moustache, dark hair with a long fringe and did not wear glasses.
