Man arrested in Peterborough as police find drugs and offensive weapon handed over

A man has been arrested after police found drugs at a Peterborough home.

Officers executed a warrant at the home in Park Farm, Peterborough yesterday. 
A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: “Our neighbourhood officers in the south of Peterborough have acted on information provided by the public and carried out a warrant in Park Farm yesterday morning, where they found:

- About 100 wraps of suspected class A drugs

- Three large bags of cannabis

- More than £500 in cash

- An offensive weapon which was handed over to us to destroy.”

A 21-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A and B drugs. He has now been released under investigation.
