Driver fined after load was found to be too wide at Sawtry
A driver was fined after an abnormal load was found to be too wide.
Cambridgeshire Police said they stopped the driver earlier this week. They said: “Road policing officers stopped this very abnormal load earlier this week at Sawtry Weighbridge after spotting some serious issues. “The vehicle was found to be over the legal width and exceeding the permitted overhang. “The driver was reported, issued with a fine, and had their movement order removed, meaning the vehicle couldn’t go anywhere until the problems are properly fixed.”
