Dramatic photos show huge caravan fire in village near Peterborough
A crew from Dogsthorpe attended the incident
Dramatic photos have shown the extent of a caravan fire on the outskirts of Peterborough.
A crew from Dogsthorpe was called to the blaze in Gunthorpe Road, near Newborough, at 10.30pm on Monday evening (June 29).
Upon arrival, crews found a caravan well alight in a lay-by near the Cherry Lane garden centre.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels and small gear to extinguish the flames.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that the cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
The incident came 24 hours after fields and hedgerows between Peakirk and Glinton were set alight.
A spokesperson for Moor Farm, which owns the affected fields, described the fires as “completely unacceptable”.
Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact Cambridgeshire Police.
